I am a first generational homeschooling parent. I guess you could say that this whole homeschooling thing is a new concept in my family. After many long discussions, my husband and I have decided we are going to try it out and keep going as long as it is working. There are a number of reasons why we are doing this: but, the main reason is...Why Not? We can't figure any reason why to not Homeschool. I am staying home with our children and what a better way to come together as a family and instill values in your children that are most important to you.
The adventure has already begun. The plan for this year is to be working on preschool concepts with my 3 year old. This is something every parent can do. Here are a few links I have been referring to for my curriculum! The biggest plus is that for this age group you can find most of your ideas and lessons for fairly cheap or even free!
